Kelly Thompson...

Kelly Thompson is an Illustrator and Fashion Photographer from Wellington, New Zealand. She did a Bachelor of Design at Massey University Wellington, with Illustration papers and majored in Photography.

I think she is an incredibly talented person and wish i could illustrate the way she does. Her illustrations are real and raw but she still has that sense of drama and creativity in her pieces.

Two Scoops...

The trends for this spring are sending me into a flurry of pure ELATION!

"Pale Fire", as Style.com has named it, is one of the many Spring trends we are yet to see...

For a while now our streets have been splashed with an abundance of colour! Electric neons and brights have ruled the fashion world for sometime now. Don't get me wrong...colour blocking has been amazing and big bold colours make me happy BUT...

These new ice cream shades have brought me to my knees! its fresh, girlie and above all it EPITOMIZES the spring time!

So heres the important question..."Would you like two scoops or one?"

Spring has sprung, the grass has ris’,

               I wonder where the birdie is?

There he is up in the sky,

He dropped some whitewash in my eye!

I‘m alright, I won't cry,

I'm just glad that cows can't fly!

London Love...

What does my future hold for me?

I wish I could get to know.

My past goes with me,

where ever i want to go.

The best years of my life,

are  perhaps gone for ever.

But in my memories of life,

they live on for ever.

My friends and dear ones are no more with me,

but they are ever young in my memories.

Their pictures will for ever stay with me,

as long as i retain those memories.

When ever I feel the need,

to talk to them.

All I have to do indeed,

is to my mind recall them.

As of now it is the present,  

that is what is most important now.

The memories were of past,

and a new day begins as the sun rises tomorrow.

Giving me a fresh new page to write on,

all new memories for the future.

I have to live in the present and in the now,

before my time comes some day in future.

I will build my memories again,

adding new and better ones every day.

Ensuring that I become a better person,

than I was yesterday.

My own betterment,

is a spiritual upward pathway.

Striving for excellence,

is the lesson of my destiny.

There is no one alive who is Youer than You...

Its very rare for someone to touch your heart in the way you have touched mine.
You are my best friend...

With you, i am just me...with you i am the person i hope i will always be.
No make up because you appreciate my freckles.

No mask to hide what lies beneath because when you see me, you relate and understand that whatever scars are strewn across this face are what make me who i am and you love me as i am...

You light up a room and i know i do the same for you...thats what makes this bond so incredibly special!

We all have scars and we are all damaged in some way but when you have what i have found in you...it doesn't matter! It doesn't matter because i can always share my deepest and darkest thoughts and secrets with you and you always seem to meet me with the same reaction...A warm smile followed by reassurance and love!

The future is ours for the taking !

One Day...

It seems to me, that in everyones life there will always be that one person...

That person that drives you crazy but who you crave to be near.
That person who you love to hate and hate to love.
That persons lips who offer words of wisdom, but whose kiss is laced with poison...


Aaah yes! That ONE specific someone who stops you from moving on...

BUT... maybe you are not meant to move on? Maybe that one person is your forever and you just don't realise it...


Whatever the case may be i do believe that we, as human beings, tend to live for other people more often than not. We forget to live for ourselves.
Its always a case of "is she going to be hurt if i do this?" or "will he hate me if i dont agree with him?" 
We generally base our feelings and thoughts around what others may think or what is seen as 'normal' in societies eyes...


Often time is lost because of this...

Either we lose those last precious moments with our one true love because we have been to busy believing we love another...


Friendships are lost because the truth has been hidden.We either don't know how to verbalise it  or its just to hard to verbalise...


We all make mistakes and I'm the first to admit my own, but i refuse to live my life for someone else! Love who you want to love, laugh with those who truly make your sides ache and cry with those you know you can trust!


Dont regret any moment in your life!
